These terms govern your use of OpenWall. By creating an account or using the marketplace, you agree to them.
The service
OpenWall is a marketplace that connects vendors who control physical surfaces with brands who want to advertise on them. The agreement to place an ad is between the vendor and the brand; OpenWall facilitates discovery, bidding, payment, and verification but is not itself a party to it.
Accounts
Keep your details accurate and your password secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
Listings, bids & auctions
Vendors set the floor price and approve who advertises. A bid is a binding offer; if you win and the vendor approves, your verified payment method is charged the cleared amount plus any setup fee. Instant-book (“rent it now”) is a firm purchase at the listed price.
Payments & payouts
Card details and bank information are collected and stored by our regulated payment provider, not OpenWall. OpenWall keeps the disclosed marketplace fee on completed transactions. Venue earnings release to the venue's verified payout account after required fulfillment proof and may be staged across scheduled check-ins. Refunds return to the original payment method.
Vendor responsibilities
You must actually control the surface you list and comply with local sign codes, permits, and zoning. OpenWall surfaces helpful lookups and declarations but does not provide legal advice — compliance is yours.
Brand responsibilities
You must hold the rights to the creative you submit, and it must be lawful and not deceptive. Vendors may reject any brand or artwork.
Acceptable use
No illegal, infringing, or deceptive ads, and no arranging payment off-platform to avoid fees. We may suspend accounts that abuse the marketplace.
Verification & disputes
Placements are verified by geo-stamped proof. Either party may raise a dispute; optional placement insurance covers certain no-fault losses from a shared pool.
Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, OpenWall isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the prior twelve months.
Termination
You can close your account anytime; we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
